Ahoy! Paul Rauth on the line, nice to meet you! Collecting telephones is a fascinating hobby.  I did not start collecting until after I retired in 1986. Prior to retirement I  learned to install telephones and climb telephone poles in the Army. I taught Industrial Arts in the High School and Middle School for 30 years in Marshall, Michigan. I probably had you in class or at least someone very much like you :>)    I have about 75 telephones on display and another 25 in the garage waiting to be worked on. My father worked at the Western Electric Hawthorne Plant in Chicago for 40 years and was a lifetime member of the Telephone Pioneers of America. I have gone to several telephone shows and met some very interesting telephone collectors! I belong to the Antique Telephone Collectors Association (ATCA) and Telephone Collectors International (TCI). The joy is in meeting collectors and in finding and restoring old telephones!    Move cursor over my picture to see who is listening on the other end, then click to see some of my telephones.
